This years’ show will have lots of lovely things for you to eat and drink so come early and have lunch. There are enough activities to take part in to build up an appetite for afternoon tea plus some grazing in between!
The show is a member of the Hampshire Food Festival and along with the regular attractions of the tea-tent, the hog-roast and the cricket club bar, we try hard to attract high quality local food for you to enjoy at the show. Any profit made from the tea-tent and the hog roast goes directly towards supporting the Curdridge Reading Room and Recreation Grounds.
The Tea tent is open all day and offers a wide selection of food and drink, much of which is home-made by our generous volunteers. As well as all the delicious cakes and savouries, you can dine on a traditional ploughman’s lunch or a quiche. Tea, coffee and cold drinks are available to quench your thirst.
The Hog Roast is always popular, so we are a “two hog” show again this year! We also have some delicious home-made apple sauce to accompany this tasty treat.
The Cricket Club Bar will be selling a full range of drinks including fine real ales to help wash down all of that lovely food. As the bar is licensed we ask that all alcoholic drinks are consumed within the designated area around the club house.
There is also a BBQ selling hot dogs, burgers and veggie options, so there is a wide range of hot food on offer. Be warned, get in early as it always disappears fast.
