Curdridge Country Show.

Attractions and Activities

We have a show packed full of activities and attractions to keep you entertained for the whole day!  Activites and attractions are sponsored by Silverlake Automotive Recycling.

There are a variety of performances in our Arena for you to see.  Visit: Arena Entertainment

Our popular side-shows are back on the showground including a coconut-shy, skittles alley, score-a-goal and splat the rat!  There is also a games stall with pig racing, hook-a-bag and more pocket-money games for children (and adults) to have a go at, the book stall and Preloved Treasures for you to have a rummage in the Scout & Guide Hut and a bottle tombola to try your hand to win a prize.  All of the profit raised from these is in aid of the Curdridge Reading Room & Recreation Ground Charity.

Many thanks to A & T Cooper for donating some of the coconuts for the shy.

Our Grand Draw stall will be selling tickets for the chance to win some fantastic prizes.  The main prizes are £500, £300 or £200 cash (donated by Arlington Fleet Services) and a luxury hamper from Fortnum & Mason (donated by Doyle and Palmer Wealth Management).  We rely on the generosity of local businesses, our sponsors and exhibitors for donations of prizes for which we are incredibly grateful.  If you would like to make a donation, please email us at enquiries@curdridgeshow.co.uk

Scalexparty are setting up a slot-car racetrack in the Billiard Room for you to see if you can be the fastest racer on show-day.  Silverlake Autumotive Recycling will have a car on the showground for you to write or draw on and, a competition to see who can remove the most car parts for the chance to win a prize.

Members of the South Hants Vehicle Preservation Society are bringing some of their beautiful vintage cars to the show-ground and we are fortunate to also have some vintage fire engines too!

If you are feeling adventurous, why not have a go on the 9m high climbing wall supplied by  Climb Vertigo.  There are also inflatables, a tea-cup ride and a bungee trampline on the showground.

Younger children can have a ride on a shetland Pony with Pony Magic or, if you fancy something completely different, why not try ferret racing or learning about ferret husbandry with Wessex Ferret Club

There will be a huge variety of traders and exhibitors on the showground for you to peruse for the chance to buy that special gift or treat yourself to a lovingly handmade item as a keepsake of the day!  Click HERE to see more details about exhibitors on the showground.

Visit our horticultural page for more information about taking part in our family-friendly competition.  With classes for adults and juniors covering a wide range of talents and interests, there is something for everyone.  Join in for the chance to win a certificate or a trophy

Last, but by no means least, for those of you who love anything ‘crafty’, there are a few craft-related stalls on the showground.  You could try your hand at throwing a pot with Perfectly Potty, see a demonstration of willow sculpture from Willow and Crafts or visit Green Woodworks for the chance to see some rural crafts.
