The Horticultural Show is where it all started many years ago and it continues to be a popular element of the Show.
There are a wide variety of classes that you can choose to enter, giving you, your family and friends the chance to take part in some fun-filled competition. As well as horticultural classes (veg, fruit, flowers, plants & flower arranging), there are also classes in craft, art, photography, baking, preserves and wine-making. There are classes for Juniors (ages 16 and under) for them to showcase their talents. There are certificates, trophies and rosettes to be won, so please join in and enter.
Whilst this year’s Curdridge Show has been cancelled, plans are underway for the 63rd Show to take place next year on Saturday 17th July 2021.
Many of us have been turning to our hobbies during lockdown to help get through these unprecedented, strange times. We hope that one positive to come out of the pandemic and the restrictions placed on us has been the chance to reconnect with the enjoyment of spending time doing things that bring us joy and satisfaction and we hope that this inspires you to consider taking part on the Horticultural Show next year.
You can click on the image below to download the draft schedule for next year. The theme for some of the classes still needs to be decided, and will be updated later this year. The image is the schedule design winner from the last Show – Grace Betteridge. Well done Grace!
